The 3 B's of Behavior Tutorial (Autism)


  1. BELIEFS: Behavior, which is related to its context, is also rule-governed and communicative.
  2. BEHAVIOR: It can be learned and understood. It shows skill deficits. As mentioned before, it has to do with the context. However, it can change. Nevertheless, it should be observable and measurable. All behavior has antecedents and consequences.
  3. BUILDING SUPPORT: It consists of providing more situations where a particular behavior is less likely to occur.
